Recycled Fabric Napkin Rings From Saran Wrap Tubes
Our friends at Merriment Design have come up with yet another chic home decor idea using recycled materials. You only need a handful of materials and the best part is that you can customize the rings to match your decor. You can have a different set for every season or make a few sets to give away as hostess gifts ... think of the possibilities!

Make a gift bow from a magazine page
Jessica from How About Orange has a great tutorial for this adorable gift bow. Not only can it save you in a gift-wrapping emergency, but it's a great way to recycle old magazines, newspapers, flyers, basically, any scrap of paper you have lying around.
If you're like me and have tons of extra scrapbook paper left over from previous projects, this is a great way to incorporate a little color and customize your next gift.
Give it a try. Thanks Jessica.

Découpage stool with leftover paper
I stumbled upon this project from Design Sponge which sparked loads of ideas. Who hasn't had a set of these plain wooden stools around? Well here's a completely new way to add a little pizzaz to an otherwise ordinary piece of furniture. All you need (in addition to the stool, or table) is a 2" hole punch, some decorative paper, mod podge and a paintbrush. But don't take my word for it. check out the tutorial.

Paper and Fabric Fall Wreath
In keeping with our fall theme (can you tell it's my favorite season?), I found another super-easy fall wreath idea from Merriment Design . This is a great one to do with the kids. And if you don't have access to pre-cut leaves, they've got a downloadable template, you can cut & trim yourself. How easy is that?
Love this one! Enjoy on your own front door or bring it along as a hostess gift.

This Lady's Apron
How chic is this apron? Oh the things I could cook ...
In addition to loving all things paper, I have a strong fondness for all things polkadot and this apron is at the top of my list this season. I'll have to add this one on my wish list (wink, wink!)

Urban Fall Wreath
I came across this fabulous idea on Merriment Design . It is such a cute way to feature your favorite Polaroids. Don't have Polaroids? Use regular-sized prints or trim regular photos and paste on white Cardstock to portray the "illusion" and nostalgia of a Polariod. I can think of a thousand different images I'd like to use. Use family pics, favorite landscapes or anything that strikes your fancy.
